Namaste! I’m Sarita Paudel a certified, independent trekking guide from Nepal. I currently live in Pokhara, though my roots are in the green plains of Chitwan. Guiding is not just my career it is my calling, my passion, and the story of how I found freedom in the mountains.

Among the few women leading groups through the Himalayas, I walk these trails with pride. My journey began in a time of personal challenge a moment that inspired me to step beyond traditional boundaries and follow my heart into the wild.

In many parts of our culture, women are expected to stay at home while men explore the world outside. Choosing to be a guide was my way of rewriting that story. It has taught me that courage knows no gender. While we may differ in strength, a woman’s resilience and spirit are boundless and I carry that belief on every trek.

Every trail I walk is more than just a path it is a reminder of how far women in Nepal have come. I feel deeply connected to these mountains and honored to share them with travelers from around the world.

When you trek with me, you don’t just witness the Himalayas you experience them through the eyes of a local woman who has fought to stand proudly in her own story. Each journey is a meeting of cultures, hearts, and personal growth.
